Abandoned is the second solo exhibition by Greet Weitenberg at PontArte in Maastricht.
The Amsterdam based artist Greet Weitenberg is intrigued by landscapes and buildings. In her new series of works we find a colorful translation of abandoned buildings and sites.
She plays with the sight of the deserted landscape on one side, but we see cheerful colors on the other. Is it really that bad? And for whom?
PontArte presents the new work in Maastricht from 8 February until the 5th of March. In addition to a traditional exhibition, Greet will make an intervention in the PontArte space.
The exhibition and installation can be seen from 8 February to 5 March. The exhibition will be opened on February 8 at 4 p.m. in the presence of the artist.
