Mario Pasqualotto works in many disciplines. He works best in his studio in Barcelona, but has worked also in the EEUU and would love to live in London.

All his life he has been creating, at primary school his drawings were very well received and since he moved away from architecture and design in 1988 he is a fully dedicated artist constantly investigating and search of himself.

He investigates and creates his paintings, sculptures, installations, drawings working with conventional and unconventional materials and techniques. His style can be described as a revision of the art history, conceptual and with influences of the Arte Povera. Artists that have influenced him range from Giotto to Mario Merz.

He gets his inspiration reading, drawing and creating maps of his ideas.

He had his first exhibition in a Bar in Barcelona in 1975 and since then has had many expositions in museums and galleries all over the world, from Hong Kong to Alella. His work is in many important collections.
