AT EYE LEVEL: Nina Stoelting | Gábor Török

At eye level is the title of the exhibition planned for March by artist couple Nina Stoelting and Gábor Török at PontArte in Maastricht.

The title of the exhibition says it all about their relationship to each other and their relationship to art. Török is a sculptor and Stoelting makes paintings that are in perfect balance to eachother.

The artist couple Nina Stoelting and Gábor Török from Wiesbaden, Germany, meet at Eye Level, indicating they are entirely each other’s equals. The sculptor Török, with his powerful bronze sculptures is entirely in harmony with Stoelting’s highly sensitive works.
At Stoelting, visualized music is represented in a series of ink drawings and canvasses. The series, which she has been working on since 2021 is titled Capriccio.
Each work is based on a piece of music, which is indicated in the title of the work.
Törok also depicts movement in his bronze sculptures but uses linear bodies given sensual forms. A contradiction that creates a fascinating tension.

This is the first time the pair has exhibited at PontArte Gallery. The exhibition was created in collaboration withour partner gallery Rubrecht Contemporary in Wiesbaden.
Both galleries collaborate on exhibitions under the name Rubrecht Severens Fine arts.

Saturday, March 2 from 5 – 7 pm in the presence of the artists.

The exhibition can be visited from March 2 through April 1. Opening hours: Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and by appointment.

During TEFAF (March 8-16), the gallery is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
