Fab Rideti
Fab Rideti is a visual artist. After several years of marketing work, Fab Rideti decides to focus solely on her creative aspirations and enters the School of Fine Arts in Versailles in 2008, where she quickly reveals a passion for photography.
She then moved to Seattle. With her distinctive style, Rideti attracted the attention of galleries and a museum, and shared her work in Seattle, Portland and Paris between 2011 and 2014. In 2016, she moved to Brussels and is represented by galleries: Art Unity Gallery then Frederik Mouraux Gallery.
In 2021 she was a finalist for the 18th Open Photography Prize of the Charleroi Museum of Photography, and obtained an Honorable Mention at the Paris Photo Prize.
Also a finalist for the Prix Arles Off, her series Naphta Tribes has been presented at Les Rencontres d’Arles in 2022,
In June 2022, Fab Rideti was invited by the European Commission to exhibit her work within its walls and was selected for the New European Bauhaus Festival in Brussels. On this occasion, she designed a participatory installation inviting the public to take part in the photos and commit to changing their plastic consumption.
Nominated for the Somfy Photography Award 2022, Rideti has presented her new series, Inner Shores, at the Fotomuseum in Maastricht from October 2022 to January 2023.
